Dr. Courtney Pearce, DC
Dr. Courtney Pearce was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. From a young age, she was actively involved in a wide range of sports, including junior Olympic archery, various styles of dance, soccer, long-distance running, and softball. However, hockey has always been her greatest passion.
Her years as an athlete gave her firsthand appreciation for the complexity and importance of sports medicine in supporting athletes’ performance and career longevity. This inspired her to pursue a Bachelor of Kinesiology at Trinity Western University in British Columbia, where she gained valuable clinical experience as a student athletic trainer for the varsity rugby and hockey teams. Some of her fondest athletic memories come from sitting on the bench as a student athletic trainer for varsity hockey. In recognition of her dedication and excellence, she was honored with both the Junior and Senior Athletic Trainer of the Year awards.
Courtney went on to continue her education at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. In 2025, she graduated with a Bachelor of Human Biology, a Master of Sports Medicine, and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Her sports medicine experience continued to expand. Her highlights from this education included assisting with sports medicine for local rodeos, professional ultimate frisbee games, and the Oregon state wrestling championship.
Dr. Pearce has extensive experience working with athletes across a variety of sports and levels, from recreational participants to high-contact, sideline settings. Through her clinical and academic training, she has developed a strong background in managing concussions, post-concussion syndrome, dysautonomia, and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). Her time with sports teams has also equipped her with in-depth knowledge in acute injury diagnosis and management, rehabilitation, return-to-play protocols, and injury prevention.
She is currently in the process of obtaining her Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) designation and plans to pursue the Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP) in the future. Outside of her professional work, Dr. Pearce enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and spending as much time as possible being active outdoors.
